Delivery at 3 am, texting and calling, absolute nuisance

The delivery date of my package was registered on 21, and the next delivery was on 07/20/2024 at 3:14 am!!! He sent several messages on WhatsApp and then called me, I am sick at home and I also had heart palpitations after this call. Right in the middle of sleep time!!! I can't understand why!?!?

Me “Mona Mowafy” and my daughter “Layla ElTonsy, were traveling to attend a gymnastics competition in Bulgaria& from my daughter’s gymnastics team with us on the same flight there was; a Bulgarian child “Paulina Tomova”& her grandmother “Sne Jhana Shahanska”, plus an Egyptian child “Alia ElFazary” traveling alone with us as part of the group.

As a group of 5 who all checked in, we were surprised to find out at the boarding gate that the child traveling alone with us “Alia ElFazary” has an immature visa, although all 5 of us were checked in by the Flydubai checkin employee.

The boarding crew informed us that Alia cannot travel and neither can us, because as a child she cannot be left alone at the gate and that we had to stay with her.
I asked for help in such an emergency situation as we didn’t want to miss our flight and Alia’s mum was still in the airport, but the boarding employees refused to try to help us in any possible way. We needed any authorized airport employee to help escort the child to her mum or even the airport police, but the boarding employees were not cooperative and denied us all from traveling.

This is all because of the mistake done by the Flydubai employee at the check in counter!

I emailed a complaint to Flydubai asking for compensation, but they replied to my email saying that they cannot provide a compensation and that the case is closed for them and any email else that I will send will be considered a feedback!

It’s an emotional devastation for my daughter missing participating in an international competition, in addition to the financial loss of the tickets paid, hotel reservations, transportation in Bulgaria and competition fee. All of these losses because of the mistake done by the Flydubai check-in employee. Then Flydubai responding to my complaint saying it’s a feedback.

Grocery items selling 220% extra price

For my job purpose I'm moved in Jumeirah village triangle. But I really can't afford here supermarket grocery. Lots of day I comeback from grocery without buying anything. 5 kg rice bag usually I buy from carrefour 36 AED. Here danat supermarket they selling 73 AED. I go to next shop triangle supermarket they selling 47 AED same rice same brand. I don't know really here about consumer if they monitoring price. I know there is some supermarket in UAE like waitors their selling 5 AED items 15 AED we don't go there even we can't afford. But small small supermarket how they they can put the price tag 220% extra.

I applied online loan they offered loan 10,000 aed lowest amount then the ask me to ask show or deposit 1 month installment payment 843 derham and they gave the account details of on person as a proof that I hve the capability to pay... Then after that they said my Iban number is wrong so that's why my loan was not credited to my account then the ask me again to pay 4k derham for the penalty in order to release the fund. Then they're lots of msg from 3 people using watsapp which is very suspicious coz they can't provide a calling number in short the transaction only is why texting in watsapp and calling... I want to take it back the money 843 derham from this scammer

I purchased Matress from Matress store online and post to that I found that the Matress is very soft and due to my health issue I couldn’t use I went back to Matress store asking them to only change it to firm one but they have been delaying and on July 06 they accept to change the Matress and continualy I was following but still they didnot give me proper right time by when they will change the Matress and I’m suffering from kidney problem and cannot keep it also they asked me to pay additional charges for change which is 500dirhams and still I paid it on same day and then I keep following up to let me when they will share the proper date they don’t answer however I highlighted Iam not well and need to travel

We bought an AC (FRIGIDAIRE) and bought extended warranty till 2026. The AC is not functioning from last Saturday and raise the complaint on last Saund ay. They said within 3 working days technicians will come and repair it. Till today (17-07-2024) no one came. It’s summer and heat is unbelievable. My family with kids are suffering horribly even after spending so much on this product. So please help us to resolve this issue ASAP. I,m Muhammad waseem , i Applied for Europe work permit through this agancy (Evergreen overseas )(Business bay ,Union Tower ,9th Floor ).consultant Madam simrun brief us all about visa info,s .The Total amount of payment is 12,000 AED .she told us before offer letter i have to pay 2,000 AED and after offer letter i have to pay another 2,000 AED and after visa i have to pay 2000 AED so it will be all together 6000 AED and remaining 6000 AED company will deduct from me after visa .Above as i mentioned the installment plan i paid them 2000 AED after i request them for my offer letter But they reliped me i have to pay all money and then they will try for my offer letter and the Team member Madam simrun Misguided me and pass the incorret information .last week i visited them to gave my money back but they replied I'm breaching this agreement so they will not return my money back .i said to them it,s your Team member who misguided me it,s not my mistake .I want from your side needfull Assistance please assist me .

was coming from Dubai and one of my car's lights was bed ligth and I didn't know it. Sharjah Police gave me a fine instead of a warning, not one fine but two fines. And the second license was opposed. While the license was in my UAE passport. This is the wrong fine. Please consider this.

Hi Team,
Good Day!

My name is ASIF ARIF I am living in UAE for past 12 years and I always respect the rules and regulation of this beautiful country. in recent time i had worse experience with hala drive and i came to this conclusion that i have to bring this into your notice.

I wanted to register my complain against hala drive ( rental Car ). I booked their car J7 AUH number AD19 70553 from 11th may 2024 till 1st june 2024.

I had return the car in a same condition i received. At the time of handover they took 40 minuted to examine the car and gave me a checklist acknowledgement form.

After 3 days they send me a vedio which declares that there is some damage in AC . I approached them and got no answer on it. Hower same day they charged me AED 1050/- as a claim without bringing this in my knowledge. Proof can be provided. The number i always been in touch is in hala drive is +971 50 183 7112.

On 18th June i recognized that there is a unauthorized deduction on my credit card however upon contacting hala drive came to know that they charged me for AC Damage.

I approached them many times and they took 3 weeks to respond me back as a result of proven guilty as per their investigation. I raised my concern with the staff and raise my concern on not being comtacted at any movement of time.

I wanted this matter to lookup from your end and investigate it further as an individual consumer its my rigth to get my money back because i did nothing with the car and return in the same condition i received.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the handling of my refund request, which has been pending for an unacceptable two months. Despite my relentless follow-ups and even lodging a formal complaint with the Dubai Economic Department, I have been met with nothing but lies and empty promises.

This level of incompetence and disregard for customer service is utterly unacceptable. I demand immediate action to resolve this matter and expedite the processing of my refund without further delay.

Furthermore, I expect a full explanation for the delay and assurances that such negligence will not be repeated in the future. Failure to address this issue promptly will leave me with no choice but to explore legal avenues to seek restitution for the inconvenience and stress caused.

[SCAM REPORT]: Rental Fraud and Forgery from Property Finder

As I recently moved to Dubai, its just 6 months for me, and I can say, I have been through a roller coaster ride. I met this chap from Property Finder, name Fahad Feroz Khan. I was finding a villa in between the range of 55K to 70K in Damac Hills 2, 2 BR. I talk over him the phone, he sends me a couple of listings, standard procedure. I ask him, lets meet, so he calls me at Al-Rigga, and we sit at a restaurant beneath his apartment. The next day, he tells me that I should go see a couple of villas, and as instructed I go with my family to see the Villas in Damac Hills 2. In about 4 days, he shows me 3 Villas of the same landlord, while I insist him that you should be present, but due to the distance he is unable to make it.

As I recently got my Emirates ID, I opened up the bank account, and it took me a week to get the Cheque book. The guy insisted on closing the deal, so standard procedure, he makes a contract, I sign it and handover 2 months worth of rent, and half of his commission to proceed with the ejari. He gave me an Invoice. The date was 15th Feb, 2024.

On the 22nd Feb, 2024, he confirmed that I will be moving, and while in between he said today or tomorrow the Ejari is going to come.

THE INTERESTING PART

On the 22nd Feb, 2024, the guy goes off the grid, and I have no clue, what to do, as now I have to extend my stay on AirBnB. On the 24th Feb 2024, I go visit the office address, of the Invoice and find out that the Invoice is Fake, then I try calling the number of the contract which i took a picture with my phone, and never got the signed copy back, and it is of some legal company, and they have nothing to do with it. I try emailing the landlord, but tadaa! the email address bounces back.

Well, in a nutshell, I lost 11,656 AED. I did go to the police to open a case, followed the procedure, but to my finding that there are soo many backlogs, that my case is gonna take its due time. Its hard as its a loss and coming to a new country, it takes an emotional toll on you as well, but I wonder, why people are so short sighted.

So My Findings, I would like to share

Prefer Companies Over Landlords

Always Take Invoices that are with Company Stamped

Mostly PropertyFinder, Dubizzle and Bayut, are filled with Scam and Rude People

Always take a copy of Passport or Emirates ID when giving money
